Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is looking for a skilled Corrosion Control Technician II to take the lead in preserving the integrity of our water infrastructure!

💧 What You'll Do:
As a Corrosion Control Technician II, you'll be the frontline defender against corrosion! Reporting to the Pipeline Maintenance Division Manager, you'll take charge of our corrosion control programs, driving projects from planning to execution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive inspections and technical assessments of our systems.

  • Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and testing cathodic protection systems.

  • Leading our vault and facility painting programs to enhance infrastructure longevity.

  • Collaborating with internal staff, contractors, and consultants to allocate resources, define priorities, and deliver successful corrosion control projects.

  • Developing and refining procedures aligned with industry best practices to ensure reliability and safety.

🕒 Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Standard hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Occasional overtime required (after-hours, weekends, holidays)
