Jerry Seiner Dealerships in South Jordan is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced Service Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet customers and direct them to the appropriate service personnel.
- Collaborate with skilled mechanics to diagnose vehicle issues and present repair options.
- Leverage your product and service knowledge to guide customers in selecting the best options for their needs.
- Handle customer inquiries related to service outcomes, appointment scheduling, and vehicle drop-off/pick-up.
- Advise customers on warranty options, potential cost savings, and whether to repair or trade-in their vehicle.
- Manage the service department's workflow and scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
- Proactively communicate with customers about service updates and vehicle readiness.
- Build and maintain positive relationships to foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Ensure accurate documentation of services rendered and process customer payments efficiently.
- Coordinate with service technicians on parts ordering to ensure timely availability.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor (preferred).
- 2 years of prior automotive dealership experience.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and industry trends.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software, including CDK (preferred).
- 5 years of customer service experience.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to clearly explain technical information to customers.
