SUMMARY:
A shipping warehouse job involves managing the movement of goods in and out of a warehouse facility, including receiving, storing, and preparing shipments for delivery. This role typically includes verifying shipments, packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Use power tools, table saw, panel saw, drills and air tools to cut and assemble crates and pallets.
Inspecting incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, checking for damage, and confirming compliance with company standards.
Sorting, labeling, and storing items in designated locations, following inventory management protocols.
Extended periods of heavy lifting and bending.
Picking, packing, wrapping, crating, labeling, and shipping orders according to schedules.
Using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and containers.
Performing inventory counts, verifying stock levels, and updating inventory records.
Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, free of hazards, and compliant with safety regulations.
Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Addressing issues related to shipments, inventory, or logistics.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Successful applicant must 18 years of age. Prior experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right applicant.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The regular workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, equaling 40 hours between 5 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. exclusive of a daily meal period. The regular established shift for a workweek shall be eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday. The Employer reserves the right to adjust the schedule for a workweek based on customer demand and/or business necessity.
