What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Account Manager to help our municipal partners get even more value out of Caselle. In this role, you'll manage a book of 200+ loyal customers, focusing on upselling and cross-selling new solutions like online payments (Community Connect), cloud hosting, and other modular product add-ons.

This is not a traditional retention role-we have a strong support and implementation team that handles onboarding, troubleshooting, and day-to-day success. Your mission is to unlock growth within your customer base by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and guiding municipalities to the next stage in their digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a book of 200+ existing local government accounts
  • Proactively engage customers around new product offerings and solution expansion
  • Drive revenue growth through targeted upsell and cross-sell activities
  • Partner with city clerks, treasurers, managers, and other stakeholders to align on their evolving needs
  • Travel to conferences, regional trainings, and key on-site meetings (~10-20% travel)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using CRM tools
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on how Caselle's tools can help communities work more efficiently
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize recurring revenue
  • Work with other teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to clients

You Might Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Have experience (2-5 years) in GovTech, ERP software, or municipal sales/account management
  • Understand the unique challenges and responsibilities of local government operations
  • Are passionate about supporting small-town America and helping communities modernize their systems
  • Excel at building long-term relationships, asking the right questions, and spotting expansion opportunities
  • Are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to tailor your approach for a variety of municipal roles
  • Ability to juggle multiple clients and proposals at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
