About being our Senior Construction Project Manager

KPG Psomas has the opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Construction Services team located out of Tacoma. The focus in this role is to partner with our Business Development Team to actively win work, focusing on relationship building with both current and prospective clients. Our Senior Construction Project Manager is a team player with experience in taking a partnering approach toward resolution of disputes while still adhering to the project's contract requirements. Senior Construction Project Managers are also versatile, and both involved with project management, project scope, managing a team, and are able to support construction inspection needs, documentation, and work independently with minimal direction. Our construction services group is currently involved in several municipal projects and has a growth-focused future.


Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Construction Project Manager

  • Help grow the Construction Services Department.
  • Actively participate and lead marketing pursuits and client outreach and win work for the team.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and project delivery.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Expertise contributes to the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Construction Project Manager

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent jobsite experience
  • 12+ years of relative experience
  • Valid Driver License - job includes travel to various job sites.
  • Ability to work in an active construction site, including walking over uneven terrain, being outdoors in inclement weather, and wearing proper safety equipment and practicing industry safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with WSDOT Standard Specifications and WSDOT Standard Plans, including ADA requirements.

Preferred Qualifications for our Senior Construction Project Manager

  • Professional Engineering license
  • 15+ years of construction experience related to roadway/ infrastructure work.

  • A competitive salary! The genuinely expected range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000/ year depending on experience
    • Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
