Location: AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown

This position is a full time on-site position.

On call nights and weekends are required as necessary for hotel operational success.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the safety and upkeep of the building.

  • Ensure building is up to code for WA State, King County, Marriott International and Lodging Dynamics
  • Supervise a department team of three
  • Ensure all guest rooms have preventative maintenance service once a quarter. Inspect the service and log in the Quore app.
  • Meet with department heads on a weekly basis to review needs of upkeep and repair
  • Conduct daily property walks, logging readings of all equipment to ensure functionality of hotel
  • Inspect all out of order rooms and create action plan to get them back in service as soon as possible
  • Order supplies for department within budget parameters
  • Respond to guest issues in a quick and positive manner
  • On call for building emergencies
  • All water, electric and fire issues must be resolved immediately and reported to direct supervisor (General Manager)
  • Managers must have a basic knowledge of each department
  • Marriott Franchise Select Service, FOSSE knowledge recommended
  • Basic knowledge of general repairs necessary

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests' service needs. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
