Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with the asset management program, CMMS support, and data quality efforts within the Digital Solutions Group.

As a part-time Asset Management & CMMS Support Technician, you will assist staff with data entry, data validation, system support, and documentation efforts related to the District's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and asset management program. This role supports the accuracy, consistency, and usability of asset data across multiple systems and contributes to ongoing asset management initiatives, process improvement efforts, and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supporting documentation.
Job Duties: This position includes a mix of office-based technical work and collaboration with internal staff. Primary responsibilities include:
• Entering, updating, and validating asset and maintenance data within the District's CMMS and related systems
• Reviewing asset records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems
• Researching and collecting asset data from documents including engineering plans
• Assisting with cleanup and standardization of asset attributes, naming conventions, classifications, and maintenance records
• Supporting data quality checks, audits, and verification of asset inventories
• Providing basic technical and administrative support for CMMS users and workflows
• Assisting with the setup, organization, and maintenance of digital asset records and documentation repositories
• Supporting asset management improvement initiatives and related process documentation
• Assisting with the creation and updating of asset management SOPs, workflows, and data standards
• Following established procedures and checklists to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Assisting with related asset management, CMMS, and data support tasks as assigned
Work is primarily office-based and computer-focused. Training will be provided for District-specific systems and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment
• Experience using spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to follow written procedures and document processes
• Good written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
• Experience with data validation, quality control, or documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
• College coursework in asset management, engineering, information systems, business analytics, public works, or a related field
• Familiarity with databases, maintenance systems, or asset management software (coursework or exposure acceptable)
• Interest in infrastructure systems, maintenance operations, or public-sector asset management
• Basic understanding of databases, reporting systems, or technical documentation
Wage: $18-$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time position, up to 20 hours per week. Work schedule is flexible during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
