Description
The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator is a key role supporting all aspects of Manufacturing Operations. This position drives operational excellence through reporting, data management, compliance support, purchasing coordination, project leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. As a trusted partner to Manufacturing leadership, this individual helps ensure operations run smoothly by maintaining accurate records, coordinating supplies and resources, supporting key manufacturing projects, and driving a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. This role is also instrumental in fostering a positive culture by supporting meetings, employee recognition, celebrations, communication, and engagement activities that strengthen teamwork and morale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all Manufacturing Operations activities and initiatives.
- Maintain Oracle data integrity, manufacturing records, and operational reporting.
- Prepare KPI, production, and performance reports.
- Manage compliance documentation, including CAPAs, deviations, OOS records, and audit readiness activities.
- Coordinate the purchasing and replenishment of manufacturing supplies, equipment, parts, and other resources required to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Partner with Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure materials and services are available when needed.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Coordinate departmental meetings, communications, employee recognition, celebrations, and culture-building activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or administrative support.
- Experience with ERP and MES systems preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
