What You'll Do

As our Environmental Lead, you will drive business growth, lead project execution, and provide technical and team leadership across environmental services.

  • Team Leadership & Development
    Mentor and develop staff, delegate work, and balance team workload while promoting environmental services through training and collaboration.
  • Business Development & Strategy
    Pursue new clients and project opportunities while supporting marketing efforts, industry engagement, and strategic initiatives.
  • Project & Client Leadership
    Serve as primary client contact and lead project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, subconsultants, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Technical Oversight & Reporting
    Prepare, review, and present environmental investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial action plans to clients and stakeholders.
  • Field & Regulatory Coordination
    Oversee field investigations and remediation activities while coordinating with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Geologic Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience leading environmental investigations and remedial solutions
  • Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and regulatory processes (Utah DEQ experience preferred)
  • Experience managing client relationships and supporting business development activities, including preparing proposals, developing scopes and budgets, and contributing to winning new work
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Incentives: Discretionary performance bonus program
  • Time Off: 4 weeks PTO plus 8 paid holidays
