The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is recruiting for a Kitchen Supervisor. This position is full time at 5 shifts per week. Schedule will typically be 4 PM to 12:30 AM, may be needed earlier or later depending on hotel needs. Overtime available according to hotel demand. Shifts will include weekends and holidays.


  • Close kitchen according to cleaning and prep schedules.
  • Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items.
  • Report out of stock items to the Executive Chef.
  • Prepare all sauces and all dishes for breakfast and lunch menus.
  • Prepare all menu and featured items under the Executive Chef's direction.
  • Supervise cooks and dishwashers.
  • Perform dinner set-up duties according to the Prep List schedule.
  • Maintain health and sanitation standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Chef.


  • Must have knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Must attend required meetings
  • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
  • Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to stand on feet 6-8 hours or longer per shift.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.
  • Valid Utah food handler permit required.
  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in high volume restaurant or hotel kitchen required.Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Culinary School experience preferred.
