The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is recruiting for a Steward/Dishwasher.
This position isfulltime,5 shiftsper week and may include weekends and/or holidays. Shift will typically be 4 PM to 12:30 AM, may needed earlier or later depending on hotel needs and business demand.
Clean, transport and store all pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations and maintain the pots and pans room in a clean and orderly manner.
Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in the hotel.
Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens have the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts and that there are sufficient Queen Mary's and racks in which to place dirty dishes, silver, pots, and pans.
Report any safety hazard to the Executive Chef immediately. Maintain health and sanitation standards.
Sweet and mop all kitchen floors.
Remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers.
Other duties as assigned.
Valid Utah food handler permit required.
Minimum lifting andpullingof 20 pounds.
This position will require frequent pushing, bending, stopping, upward reaching and manual dexterity. Must be able to stand on feet a minimum of 6-8 hours per shift.
Hearing, writing and typing may be required.
