Clinical reference laboratory in Salt Lake City UT is seeking to hire an entry level BS degree/Biology or Chemistry individual willing to learn clinical laboratory testing. Extensive training will be provided in Chemistry and Hematology. Position is day shift, Monday - Friday. Salary compares with area hospitals. Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are options. Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Background screening will be performed. Laboratory operates state of the art instruments and laboratory information system.

Job duties:

• Learn day to day laboratory operation
• Assists laboratory staff to prepare patient specimen for testing
• Extensive training to operate Chemistry and Hematology instruments plus Laboratory Information System
• Maintains federal CLIA requirements, OSHA and HIPPA compliance
• Customer service - provides friendly and accurate communication to client staff

Education: Bachelor of science degree which include 24 hours in Chemistry, Biology or related sciences.
