UI/UX DESIGNER


We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our websites and mobile applications into well-designed, easy-to-use products for our clients and customers. This is not a front-end development role; we are looking for a UI/UX designer. If you're a designer and have front-end skills, that's a plus.


SUMMARY:


As part of a growing but experienced UI/UX team, you'll create thoughtful and compelling user experiences to elevate the brand and introduce ASEA to a wider audience. You'll provide compelling design and work on new and interesting UX projects spanning multiple platforms including responsive web and mobile apps. You'll be joining a hardworking and talented team, committed to creating industry-leading experiences.



WHAT YOU'LL DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders in all stages of product process from conception through design and delivery.
  • Communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to other members of the product design, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Creating stunning UI for all aspects of product design; including design systems, pattern libraries, dashboards, data visualizations, and system elements.
  • Produce scalable, consistent visual design and interactive behaviors across products portfolio.
  • Develop deliverables including presentations, graphic elements, wireframes, interactive prototypes, design specs, etc.
  • Proactively improve the product and experience through user research and feedback.
  • Create high-quality user-centered design concepts for mobile, tablet, desktop, native or web.


WHAT YOU HAVE - QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 5+ years' experience in marketing with a user center approach.
  • BA/BS/BFA or equivalent industry experience required.
  • Proficient with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (XD), other UX | UI related software.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment with User Research, Product Management, and understanding of development processes.
  • Up to date with current UI, UX, and data visualization trends.
  • Have a desire to contribute to a supportive team culture.
  • Self-starter with passion to share knowledge with others.
  • Willing to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Strong portfolio of your work demonstrating trends, forward thinking, and design process.
