Lead Assistant Superintendent
Glenwild Golf Club & Spa, a Top 200 Tom Fazio-designed course in Park City, is seeking a full-time, year-round Lead Assistant Superintendent. This is a hands-on leadership role that works closely with the Superintendent and Director of Agronomy to manage and improve the golf course, including an upcoming full renovation.

Set in a private 950-acre sanctuary, Glenwild features a 7,564-yard, par-71 championship course recognized among the finest mountain courses in the U.S. Our membership is active and supportive, continually investing in facilities, technology, and people. Current and upcoming projects include:
- New golf practice facility (completed 2023)
- 3,000 sq. ft. shop expansion (2025)
- New deep well (2025)
- Full course renovation (2026-27) with new irrigation system, greens, bunkers, tees, and cart paths
Role & Responsibilities
The Lead Assistant Superintendent plays a key role in daily operations and long-term planning. Responsibilities include:
- Required experience in supervising and training staff (8-10 year-round, 35-40 seasonal)
- Managing turf health, irrigation, and IPM programs
- Leading by example in mowing, course setup, hand-watering, and chemical/fertilizer applications
- Supporting budgeting, planning, and renovation projects
- Maintaining high standards of course conditioning and presentation

Qualifications
- 3+ years golf course/turf management experience
- Degree or certificate in agronomy, turf, or related field preferred
- Utah pesticide license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver's license
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent Compensation & Benefits Package
- Salary: $90,000-$100,000 DOE + annual bonus
