Job Summary: Process Engineer to support equipment and processes in the manufacture of X-Ray Tubes, Detectors, Windows, and Power Supplies. Engineer will support production by ensuring that equipment and processes are kept up-to-date. Using SPC and Six Sigma tools, this individual will drive continuous improvement on assigned processes and equipment, and will predict and prevent problems that would result in production line-down situations. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and qualifying new processes, and for qualifying and accepting new equipment into production.

Essential Functions:

• Process and equipment control--SPC

• Troubleshoot and prevent line-down situations

• New process development and approval

• New equipment qualification

• Process improvement

• Failure analysis on products and processes

• Mentor technicians in equipment support

• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field

• 2-6 years' experience in a technical position
