JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Security System Installer, you are responsible for providing "Extraordinary Care" to customers, vendors, and employees. Valuable skills in customer service, time management and setting priorities are needed to be successful in this position. Ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities and work independently to find solutions. You are front and center with our customers supporting their technology journey and empowering them to achieve more!
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
- Test, repair, install - Card access, and CCTV systems:
- Test, repair, install - Panels, Keypads, Door Contacts, Motion Detectors, Glass Breaks
- Test, repair, install - Card Access = Panels, Power Supplies, Maglocks, Door Strikes, Readers, Credentials, Software, Request to Exit Devices...
- Test, repair, install - DVR/NVR, Analog and IP Cameras, Power Supplies, Analytics...
- Perform all services and installations in a safe and timely manner
- Provide clear and professional customer education on all aspects of their security needs
- Utilize company provided equipment and software programs to increase efficiency
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment
- Create customer loyalty and satisfaction by maintaining a professional, friendly, can-do attitude
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ year experience working with low voltage systems
- Clean driving record with at least 5+ years of driving experience
- Ability to operate a vehicle independently
- Able to navigate in crawl spaces, attics, etc. alone
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to quickly learn new programs
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
