JOB DESCRIPTION
We seek a dynamic and skilled Computer Hardware Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various computer systems, including desktops, Chromebooks, and laptops. Additionally, they will provide technical support across various other technologies as required. If you are an individual with a proven track record in computer repairs, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills we invite you to become an integral part of the VLCM family.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on customer workstations and laptops, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards and best practices.
- Facilitate on-site support services for customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues and demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strive to meet and exceed service level agreements established between the customers, partners and VLCM, fostering strong professional relationships and reinforcing the company's commitment to excellence.
- Display flexibility and adaptability by undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team and the organization.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degrees are preferred.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of computer systems, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to customers of varying technical understanding.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support as required, with a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, strongly committed to achieving team goals and targets.
