To support our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Course Irrigation Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Golf Course Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the golf course's irrigation system. You will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and other team members to ensure the irrigation system is functioning optimally, delivering the right amount of water to maintain the course's pristine condition.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, pipes, and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the irrigation system, including leaks, clogs, and electrical problems.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as adjusting sprinkler heads, cleaning filters, and ensuring proper water flow and coverage.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to ensure efficient water usage.
• Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to develop irrigation plans and strategies for maintaining turf health and appearance.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation system maintenance, repairs, and water usage.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of other golf course equipment and infrastructure as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician, preferably in a golf course or landscaping setting.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including sprinklers, valves, pipes, and controllers.
• Familiarity with various irrigation system designs and installation techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair common irrigation system issues effectively.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems related to irrigation controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
