Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maintenance of county jail facilities including detention and monitoring of inmates.

Full-Time, with Benefits

Corrections Trainees start at $26.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduation from High School or GED.
2. Must be at least 19 years of age by 09/22/2025.

Candidates MUST attend ONE of the Testing and Interview Days to be considered. Dates will be announced once the job posting has closed.

PT Requirements:

• Run 1.5 miles in 16:11, 14 push-ups (continuous exercise), hold a plank position for 30 seconds (replaces sit-up requirement)
