Have you ever wondered how our water ends up looking and tasting so great? Our Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant (JVWTP) is looking for a new Treatment Plant Operator. Are you the one? Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

Under minimal supervision, you will independently operate District water treatment facilities (in this case at JVWTP); collect samples; collect and analyze data to ensure water quality standards are met; assist with routine maintenance duties and special projects; and respond to emergency situations.

This position requires rotating shift work including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are generally 10 to 12 hours working 4 days on/4 days off.
