POSITION INTRODUCTION: The laborer/landscape and snow removal will primarily perform tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all grounds maintenance and snow removal assignments meet contractual standards.
  • Maintain all safety standards.
  • Monitor all job-related supplies levels and equipment maintenance for good working order.
  • Work with supervisor to resolve all on-site issues. Interact with our government customers.
  • Perform all landscaping and snow removal duties as needed, depending on the season.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit.
  • Ability to use hand or power tools as well as small engine equipment such as mowers, trimmers, etc.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to drive and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people with disabilities, supervisors, and the public.
  • Ability to follow instructions and use good judgment, problem solve, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn, use, and train others on how to safely use equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools used in landscaping, ground maintenance, and snow and ice removal.
  • Ability to pass background check with no pending judgments against you and a pre-employment drug screening.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 0500-1500 Flexible
