Key Responsibilities:

As the Finish Lead, you will:

- Lead a team of finishers to deliver superior results within our finish department.

- Proactively embrace and apply new finish technology, actively participating in research and product development.

- Showcase your expertise in wood finishing, working with pigmented and dye stains, pre-catalyzed lacquer, polyurethane, and UV curable finishes.

- Utilize air-applied and wipe-on stains to achieve precise finish tones, ensuring tonal continuity throughout each project.

- Operate and maintain finish equipment and department.

- Take charge of projects, demonstrating a self-starter attitude, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

- Pay meticulous attention to Quality Control, ensuring the highest standards in every project.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should:

- Have at least five years of experience in a related industry, with a minimum of three years at a lead level.

- Possess expertise in wood finishing, covering a range from pigmented and dye stains, pre-catalyzed lacquer, polyurethane, and UV curable finishes.

- Hands-on experience with air-applied and wipe-on stains necessary.

- Demonstrate a willingness to share knowledge and lead by example.

- Embrace the finishing process unique to each product/work order.

Physical Demands:

-The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

-Specific vision abilities required by this job include - Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands; reach with hands and arms; bend, twist, kneel, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
