Job Title: LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Department: Spa
Reports To: Spa Manager
Rate of Pay: Commission plus gratuities (Starting commission 27%, Opportunity to increase to 35%)
Shift: Part-Time, Year Round Position; Variable Shifts: Daily 9am-4pm and/or 2pm-8pm
Weekends, holidays and special events are required based on business needs
Treatment Providers must report to work 30 minutes prior to first appointment.
On Call: Be sure to confirm your schedule before the start of your shift. When you are on the schedule but have no appointments you are classified as actively on call. When an appointment is booked, you will be notified by the Spa. Your response time to arrive at the Spa should be one hour or less.

SUMMARY
Support and promote the image, service and standards of Sundance and the spa. Perform all massage and body treatments in a clean, safe and relaxing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Greet / welcome / check guests in and out warmly and with a smile exhibiting customer service excellence.
Guide the guests through their entire journey.
Fulfill any reasonable requests of the guests and management.
Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the entire spa journey.
Communicate with management and other team members, regarding guest or service concerns.
Perform all massage and body treatment therapies as prescribed by the spa protocols.
Punctual and consistent attendance and performance of job duties.
Maintain proper start/stop times for treatments, per protocols.
Set the ambiance for relaxation.
Restock and refill products and supplies in the treatment rooms.
Maintain and clean treatment rooms and equipment.
Assist other team members in keeping the dispensary clean and organized.
Understand all professional body care products and their proper usage.
Promote body care products to all guests.
Attend all educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.
Must be knowledgeable of a variety of massage modalities.
Ability to learn and perform all spa body treatments.
Help Guests on and off the tables.
Moving bags of linen.
Changing the height of the table.
Perform foot soaks.
Moving and lifting containers of liquid.
Moving, lifting, and cleaning dishes.
Moving and lifting a set of heated stones that weighs between 5-10 lbs.
Be a resource to guests on body therapy and products.
Be a team player, promoting the spa and other Sundance properties.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy, Utah Licensing and National Certification required. Two years of spa experience as a licensed technician required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy.
Must be licensed by the State of Utah and Nationally Certified.
