Life as a Front Office Manager:

  • Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
  • Assist in controlling expenses and minimizing waste in all areas of Front Desk operations.
  • Ensure lobbies, Front Desk and the back of the house areas are cleaned to LDHG/Marriott Hotel standards.
  • Train and monitor progress of all Front Desk Team Members
  • Respond to all guest requests, situations, complaints in a absence of General Manager or Operations Manager
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of the Front Desk, Market and Back Office of the hotel

What we're looking for:

  • 1 year of hotel experience and a minimum of 1 year managerial experience
  • Must be effective in problem solving in the workplace
  • Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
  • Must be able to navigate the needs of the team, hotel and self in a way that is beneficial to all

What to expect in your first few months:

First, get to know the hotel and the team. From there you will begin to help our team shine for our guests, showing your skills as a manager of things but mainly a leader of people. Then, you will participate in controlling expenses and minimizing waste in all areas of Front Desk and those areas that the Front Desk Manager is responsible for. As your work grows, you will play an important role in assisting the management of day-to-day operation of the Hotel and ensuring the operations is in accordance with the hotel's standards.
