JOB SUMMARY

The Pool Attendant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool deck programming and poolside food and beverage services. This role ensures that guests receive outstanding service, the pool area is well-maintained, and that team members are effectively managed and motivated. The Supervisor will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement and uphold company standards and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Supervise, train, and schedule pool attendants to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
• Communicate effectively with 1886 Grill staff to ensure food orders are delivered efficiently
• Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain a visible presence in the pool area to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Food and Beverage Manager for ordering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance team to address any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage or recreation service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
