JOB SUMMARY

The Portuguese-Speaking Technical Trainer III is responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs that enable customers and internal teams to effectively operate, maintain, and support ASI's autonomous robotic systems. This role combines instructional design, technical writing, and hands-on training delivery to support customer adoption and operational success.

As a Level III trainer, this position requires the ability to independently develop training materials, deliver instructor-led and field training, and translate complex robotics and software concepts into clear learning content for Portuguese-speaking audiences. The role works closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure training programs accurately reflect system capabilities and operational procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain technical training materials including manuals, presentations, videos, and hands-on training exercises.
  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams in both Portuguese and English.
  • Translate complex technical information related to autonomous robotic systems into clear and effective instructional content.
  • Work with engineering, product, and support teams to stay current on system updates, features, and operational procedures.
  • Support customer deployments by delivering on-site training for operators, technicians, and system administrators.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation that supports training programs and operational procedures.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and continuous improvement of course materials.
  • Assist in developing structured learning paths and certification programs for customers and internal staff.
  • Support remote and international customers through virtual training sessions when required.
  • Ensure training materials align with ASI safety practices and operational standards.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical communications, education, robotics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical training, technical writing, or instructional design in a technical environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, including technical communication and instruction.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led technical training and developing structured learning programs.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical systems such as robotics platforms, automation systems, or software tools.
  • Strong written communication skills for developing technical documentation and training materials.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and customer support.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support customer training engagements.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), training tools, or documentation platforms preferred.
