About being our Office Land Surveyor:

As an Office Land Surveyor, you'll have the opportunity to work with a cohesive team of motivated and supportive surveyors on several major public infrastructure projects throughout California. Responsibility Highlights for our Office Land Surveyor:

• Organizing and coordinating projects, which include a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying/mapping.
• Researching and analyzing title reports and record documents, including placement of easements and encumbrances.
• Resolving boundaries for individual parcels as well as large land net surveys.
• Overseeing the production of topographic mapping often incorporating various methods of data collection including scanning, aerial and conventional.
• Producing and/or overseeing the production of survey documents related to land acquisition including right of way strip maps, appraisal plats and legal descriptions.
• Preparing field packages and coordinating with field crews.
• Performing and/or overseeing the production of construction staking calculations.
  
  

Required Qualifications for our Office Land Surveyor:

• Knowledge of foundational principles of surveying through schooling, certificates, and/or experience
• Willingness and ability to learn the skills needed to develop into a multi-faceted office surveyor
• Academic course work and training certification credits in land surveying
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  
  

Preferred Qualifications for our Office Land Surveyor:

• BA or BS in Land Surveying or a related field
• 2+ years of similar survey experience
• Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT)
• Trimble Business Center and/or MicroStation familiarity
