Life as a Laundry Attendant:

• Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and distributes hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to procedures and standards

• Operates commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspects linens for stains, damage, or wear and removes unusable items from circulation

• Applies appropriate stain treatments and washing formulas to ensure cleanliness and quality

• Maintains organized storage of clean linens and supplies in the laundry area

• Delivers clean linen to housekeeping storage areas and collects soiled linen from designated locations

• Monitors laundry supply levels and reports equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisor

• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the laundry room, equipment, and work areas

• Follows all safety procedures and hotel standards

• Assists housekeeping team as needed during high-volume periods

What we're looking for:

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are preferred

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred

What to expect in your first few months:

You will begin by getting familiar with the property, laundry procedures, and equipment. From there, you will focus on maintaining a steady supply of clean linens to support guest rooms and hotel operations. As your work progresses, you will play a key role in ensuring guest comfort by providing fresh, clean linens and supporting the housekeeping team's success.
