Job Title: Brand Design & Community Manager
Reports To: VP of Marketing
Rate of Pay: DOE
Shift: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Evenings, weekends, holidays and special events are required based on business needs.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Salaried
Summary:
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality marketing content in a fast-paced environment. Coming from a graphic design background, this role will require versatility that includes designing advertising campaigns, collateral, collaborating on social media calendars, content, plus general marketing operations and tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Design: 60%
- Oversee and design social media and digital advertising assets, including animated and motion graphics, from concept to delivery
- Design original pieces for apparel, swag, print and other advertising campaign materials
- Thoughtfully design signage around the resort property for communication and marketing purposes
- Photo and video editing
- Understand business needs and create marketing strategies to drive business to resort departments
Content & Community Management: 40%
- Organize photo shoots with departments and photographers/videographers
- Photography, videography, and editing work
- Respond to comments across social media platforms
- Craft daily snow report messaging for partner sites, resort website, and app
- Act as a marketing liaison with other directors and managers to prioritize and facilitate their needs
- Execute time-sensitive tasks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in an agency or in-house hospitality setting in a graphic design role with a strong emphasis on brand design, adaptations for social and digital campaigns, as well as print and signage executions.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite & Canva
- Experience designing within a brand and style guide
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple social media accounts, projects, and tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate in building a social media calendar, including writing captions, scheduling, posting, and community management.
- Client and media partner communication and project management
- Possesses writing skills and a natural knack for networking and storytelling.
- Lodging and hospitality background with experience in ski preferred.
- Natural networker who enjoys people and can uncover and tell their unique stories
- Work closely with internal teams to meet deadlines and strategic objectives
- A versatile and proactive approach to anticipate business and design needs in advance
- A love for Sundance Mountain Resort, the Sundance brand, conservation and preserving the natural environment
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with CRM, especially Inntopia
- Experience in managing digital ad platforms (Google, Meta, OTAs) and Google Analytics
- Create and manage a social media calendar in a collaborative setting
