Description

We are searching for a Vice President of Operations. Our ideal candidate will report directly to the CEO, along with the current management team that consists of a VP of Engineering, VP of Sales, CFO, and Global Director of Quality. The primary responsibilities for this position are to manage the Utah Headquarters facility while working with our established manufacturing sites in China and Costa Rica to support growth trajectory serving medical device client companies. We expect and will validate the following prior experience: strategic international leadership driving lean and six-sigma product flow, multiple site metrics, and operating controls along with broad operating competencies (contracts, pipeline forecasts, supply chain, logistics, budgets, cost accounting, FDA and regulatory alignment). This role requires 50% travel from Utah headquarters and fluency in English is required however, fluency Mandarin and Spanish is desired and preferred.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • 10 or more years at Director or VP level operations oversight. Multi-plant management preferred.
  • Experience with interconnects is highly preferred as well as ISO 13485.
  • Demonstrated business operations experience creating budgets, managing sales pipeline forecasts, spreadsheets, forecasts, master plans, MS PowerPoint presentations, and written communications of many forms including proposals, letters, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Contracts and negotiations experience required
  • Understanding of international business cultures and operating experience working to motivate, hold accountable, and report data as required to local authorities throughout the world.
  • Advanced understanding and utilization of dashboards, KPIs, and monitoring metrics that matter is required.
  • Prior human resources hiring, management, promotion, discipline, and termination experience mandatory; familiarity with HR law and labor law.
