POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will provide financial/analytical support to members of the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT), requiring excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to think fluidly during presentations and conversations. In addition, the position requires in-depth knowledge of business and operational dynamics, solid analytical/modeling skills, and experience with business intelligence. The person in this role leverages advanced financial techniques, information systems and knowledge of US GAAP to support Supply Chain financial activities including reporting, forecasting, analysis and control. Responsibilities include:

  • Advanced financial modeling
  • Financial statement analyses
  • Budgetary plans and tracking
  • Key Performance Indicators
  • Cost reduction, expense controls, and management reporting
  • Strategic planning

Members of Nature's Sunshine Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team strive to maximize profit for shareholders by providing an independent perspective and high quality, timely analyses with recommendations to our business partners. Our main goals include influence and leadership in key financial and business decisions, adequate controls and accuracy in reporting, relentlessly eliminating waste from financial processes, and role modeling excellence as individuals and as an organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Director of FP&A including providing timely analyses and reporting.
  • Provide financial leadership to the Supply Chain Leadership Team including complex analyses, business advice and financial policy enforcement.
  • Prepares recurring financial plans for the organization and assists in annual strategic planning.
  • Identifies trends and opportunities to either improve processes or financial performance.

Develops successful working relationships with the SCLT.

  • Conducts frequent presentations to management.
  • Works directly with all levels of the organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment. Some travel may be required.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize issues into clear, concise impact and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to influence others through business partnering.
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to utilize the full Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level of proficiency.
  • Prior experience with an integrated ERP system.
  • Fluent in English

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of related experience.

Desirable:

Previous financial analyst experience in a global, publicly traded, manufacturing company.

Oracle experience.

EDUCATION:

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.

Desirable:

Master's degree in Business Administration.
