Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our 1886 Grill and Smokehouse team. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Grill, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry and a strong background in food and beverage management.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the 1886 Grill and Smokehouse, including restaurant and bar operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the food and beverage outlets.
  3. Train, supervise, and motivate the food and beverage team, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
  4. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing training programs as needed.
  5. Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation, presentation, and service.
  6. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, monitoring stock levels, and controlling costs.
  7. Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and ensure a positive guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proven experience as a food and beverage supervisor or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  2. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  3. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu planning, and cost control.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, staff, and vendors.
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  6. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
