Description

Life as an Accounting Clerk:

  • Works closely with the Accounting Manager and General Manager to update the accounting systems with invoicing, payments, inventories, and budgets.
  • Efficiently manages accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. This may include making calls to new and outstanding accounts to keep the AP in line with company procedures.
  • Organizes, secures, and maintains all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assists in responses to data request from Corporate Controllers to research vendor accounts, print financial reports and other ad-hoc assignments.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Other Accounting administrative tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum 3 years' accounting experience in hospitality and tourism environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under deadlines.
  • Must be highly skilled at multitasking and be very organized.
  • Must work well in team environment and present a professional demeanor.
  • Experience with Fosse and M3 systems preferred.
